Serving Up Chocolate This Season - 2025/26

There’s a new shade stealing the spotlight this wedding season and it’s as decadent as it sounds. Chocolate tones are making a rich and romantic entrance into the world of bridal fashion, florals and styled shoots and we are absolutely here for it.

From warm mochas to velvety espressos and soft cocoa hues, chocolate is proving to be the perfect neutral: timeless, unexpected, and utterly sophisticated. Whether you’re planning a luxe autumn wedding or a modern minimalist affair, this trend works beautifully across seasons, palettes and aesthetics.

Recently, we collaborated with some wonderful vendors for a styled shoot that showcased just how versatile and chic chocolate tones can be. Here’s how we brought this delectable palette to life…and how you can too.

We firstly have to say a huge thank you to the amazing Pia from Curate Weddings. She’s an absolute magician when it comes to photography and we’re in awe of how she captured these shots at The Glasshouse.

The Palette: A Symphony of Browns

This shoot was all about layering and draping. Think creamy lattes paired with rich dark chocolate, and hints of caramel. The result? A multidimensional, warm-toned aesthetic that felt both cozy and high fashion.

Even the dessert got the memo — perched atop of another beautiful pearl-toned silk number from Tble Linen, the vintage inspired cake and tiramisu coupes from Ignatura were a visual (and literal) feast.

The Details: Luxe, Textured, and Deliciously Styled

In this richly toned shoot, chocolate tones meet an unexpected palette of steely blues and organic textures resulting in a wedding tablescape that felt both indulgent and artful.

Our absolute fave was the steely blue velvet tablecloths and chocolate napkins from Tble Linen. The colour contrast was instantly captivating and we loved how the cool toned base allowed the deeper chocolate shades to pop with intention.

Also, we need to seriously need to put these florals on a pedestal. Florals that flirt with the unconventional.  Lush and dramatic, yet completely confined. The Isadia girls never cease to amaze us with their creativity.

Our final thoughts on Mocha…It’s a timeless trend with soul. Mocha brown isn’t just a seasonal choice. It’s a grounding colour with elegance and soul that has a huge place in wedding and event design for the 2025/26 season. Whether you’re planning an intimate elopement or a grand celebration, Mocha brings depth, warmth and natural beauty to every element of your day.
